Refund Policy
This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which MJL Advisors, Inc will refund payments made for the Longpoint service. Effective date: 2026-05-08.
14-day refund window for first purchase
If you are dissatisfied with your first paid order with Longpoint, you may request a full refund within fourteen calendar days of the original charge, with no questions asked. The refund covers the full charged amount, less any credits already consumed at the published per-generation rate. To request, email support@longpoiint.com from the email address on the order, or use the in-product help link, and include the order number.
Subscription refunds
If you cancel a paid subscription mid-cycle and ask for a refund, we will issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period, less any credits consumed during that period at the published per-generation rate. We do not require a reason. After the prorated refund is processed your access ends immediately. By default, simply cancelling a subscription leaves access active until the period end without issuing a prorated refund; ask explicitly if you would prefer the prorated refund and immediate end of access.
Credit pack refunds
Credit packs are refundable only on unconsumed credits. A credit is consumed the moment we begin processing the corresponding generation, even if the resulting artefact is not used or saved. Once consumed, a credit is not refundable and not redeemable for cash. To request a refund on remaining unconsumed credits, email support@longpoiint.com with the order number; we will refund pro rata at the original per-credit price.
How refunds are issued
All refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method, in the original currency (USD). Funds typically arrive within five to ten business days after issuance, depending on your card issuer and bank. We do not refund through bank transfer, gift card, or alternative methods. Partial refunds are issued via the Stripe API to ensure the correct amount is returned; we do not process refunds manually outside Stripe.
Cooling-off period for EU and UK consumers
If you are an EU or UK consumer, you have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days of purchase. Because Longpoint provides digital content delivered immediately on each generation, this right of withdrawal is forfeited as soon as you trigger your first generation in a paid plan, in line with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. At Checkout we ask you to acknowledge this point with a separate checkbox before payment. If you have not yet triggered any generation in the new plan, you may withdraw within fourteen days for a full refund.
Disputes and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support@longpoiint.com first; the great majority of issues are resolved without a chargeback. We retain logs sufficient to respond to chargebacks (purchase IP address, account email, access activity, delivered artefacts, refund and cancellation policy disclosure, and any relevant communications) and will share them with the card network if a dispute is opened. Filing a chargeback for a service you continue to use can constitute fraud and may result in account suspension.
Service unavailability
If Longpoint is materially unavailable for an extended period due to our fault, we will, on request, credit subscribers a prorated amount at the original rate. Material unavailability means the workspace is non-functional for more than twenty-four consecutive hours, attributable to our infrastructure rather than a regional outage of an upstream provider that you can verify independently.
Changes
We may update this Refund Policy with prospective effect; any change will be posted on this page. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
